Sav is by far the most experienced tattooist at Fantasy Ink with over 7 years experience in the trade and a highly respected career which has led him to the very steps of greatness. Sav is a huge man with the hands of a keyhole surgeon, his delicate work is legendary and there is little argument that as the lead tattooist for Fantasy Ink he is set to rewrite the way tattoos are done in Australia.
Sav is a master of the portrait, a man that can work from a photograph and convert living flesh into an exact duplicate, which to say the very least is without doubt the hardest discipline of all the tattooing craft. Not many tattooists will take on portrait work, but Sav revels in it and is a master, which really means he would have been a great artist in any discipline regardless of the style.

As perhaps Australia’s best tattooist today Sav is completely booked our at least three months ahead and sometimes for longer waiting periods, but it is worthwhile because ultimately you are entrusting your body to arguably the very best and Sav will do you justice, regardless of the type of work you request. Sav can do and prefers to do full body work, sleeves are just part of the area he is comfortable with. Sav builds up relationships with his customers and still has many clients that are over six years and still getting quality work performed on a regular basis.
Sav is an amazing man who performs extraordinary transformations on living flesh everyday, but when he has a day off, it’s onto his Harley Davidson motorbike and out onto the open road, there is nothing better than the wind in your face, with the power and muscle to tear the highway apart. Sav enjoys this but unfortunately doesn’t get out as much as he would like to these days being in such demand for his talents as a tattoo artist.

Sav lives close to the tattoo studio and is very much a family man, sharing his success and blessings with his incredibly switched on parents (both tattooed by Sav) and his brother. Sav also owns several drag racing cars which he delights in racing but this is also a passion that takes a back seat to his commitment to work. When you are the best, when you have a gift, it’s really your duty to share it with as many people as possible. When I transform a patch of skin into a living memorial of a family member or lost friend, I am actually helping my client come to terms with the loss or to express unyielding love.
